The CEO Story

CEO Clothing is a small business started by 3 women living in Sydney, Australia, who share a love of Crossfit and the gym. During lockdown in 2021, we found ourselves training twice a day just to stay sane and connected, and like many others lived in our activewear.

We started noticing that most activewear brands have a definite lack of colour, aren’t made to fit well and don’t last, especially for those of us with fuller or more curvy body types. Additionally, the price point of a lot of brands just wasn’t worth the money.

As most people during lockdown, we reflected deeply on family, career paths and life goals. All of us come from a corporate background, but agreed that the daily grind was not our end goal. We wanted something different.

We started brainstorming what we could do to meet this need. We reached out to friends, family, gym junkies, mums, sisters, every day real women, and asked what they wanted. We were convinced that if we felt frustrated with the current activewear market, others would too. And we were right. CEO Clothing came into being.

We chose the name because in that very moment, we decided it was time to become our own bosses in order to get back the time and flexibility for our families. CEO Clothing was created to start addressing all the frustrations of fit, colour, and price within the activewear market. But it was also created with the intent to lead by example and show our children and family that anything is possible, if you reach out and take it.

CEO isn’t just a job title to us, but it’s an abbreviated reminder in life to CREATE EVERY OPPORTUNITY.
